Kwale County WASH Actors take Water Resources Management a notch higher.

Kwale County WASH actors have been holding discussions on how to deal with Water Resource Management issues. The actors have joined hands to form a Water Resource Management forum. The forum’s initial task is to protect River Mkurumudzi catchment in Kwale County. The actors, who are now members of this forum, include local community institutions (Mkurumudzi WRUA), Private sector (Base Titanium and KISCOL), County Government of Kwale, National Government agencies (KWS, KFS and KMFRI) and local CSOs, KEWASNET, WWF, Kwale County Natural Resources Network (KCNRN) and research institutions (UPGro)

This forum provides a platform that brings together different players in the water sector to share ideas, challenges and possible opportunities for promoting integrated water resources management in Kwale County.
