The WASH Alliance Kenya is a key non state actor that supports the Kenyan government in the overall achievements of goals in the Water, sanitation and Hygiene sector. It comprises 10 local and international NGO’s (logos are flashed) and is a member of WASH Alliance International (logos are flashed).
Vision: a country in which all people have sustainable access to WASH services.
Mission: to change mindsets and create systems for sustainable and affordable WASH services that can accelerate. A guiding principle in our work is therefore facilitating the development of a system in which all stakeholders, such as businesses, governments, citizens and NGOs work effectively together.
Its inception was spurred by the Dutch WASH Alliance with funding from Dutch Ministry of Foreign affairs in 2011.
