Water and Livelihoods Network is an organization working to support access to improved water and sanitation, climate smart agriculture for improved livelihoods, and wholistic environmental management which taps into renewable energy.

In order to ensure sustainable projects and services, the Organization does extensive capacity building across all its programs in order to transfer and improve skills. Some of this capacity building is done through coaching and bench-marking, while some is done through extension and expert linkages.

Livelihoods thrive in an environment which promotes access to opportunities and good governance. The organization therefore works towards creating space for citizen participation especially in the context of devolution since this can be useful in proper prioritization and better investment of taxpayers’ money.

The organization has countrywide reach with most activities concentrated in Nairobi, Coast and Eastern areas.

Over time, it has supported projects which have provided water to many households, and has been recognized for contributions towards food security in Kenya.
